Titles Are Important Too!

Derek Vaughan explains why title tags are so important for search engine placement. Many times, people underestimate or overlook simple tags like this one, but search engines don’t. Some engines may place more importance on them than others, but you still want to keep these tags in the front of your mind when optimizing or designing.

“If you want to be found under a specific search term in search engines, you must include that term in your title tag.”

“Another important tip – be sure to place your most important keywords at the beginning of the title tag. For most companies, this WON’T be your company name – save that for the end of the title.”
